Wendy came to writing via acting. The main themes of Wendy’s work are currently generational trauma, climate change, stereotyping, relationships, and government policies. Having nursed and then become an academic and business owner Wendy brings a range of insights and experiences to her work that she utilises to the full.
In 2022 Wendy was presented by the Old Vic as an emerging artist having won the Old Vic monologue competition with her piece Sun, Rain, Wind. Wendy is currently working on another full length play, a take on government policy and one man's moral dilema on how to deal with the problem of elderly bed blockers.
