Jill’s early TV career saw her in CROSSROADS and as a hostess on THE GOLDEN SHOT. She was in the feature film THE HIDING PLACE, directed by James Collier in the mid 70’s. Other TV included THE ZOO GANG, MISSING FROM HOME, MOUNTAIN MEN, THE BILL and MIDNIGHT MAN directed by Lawrence Gordon Clarke. Jill has worked extensively in the theatre. Highlights include eighteen months at THE DONOVAN MAULE THEATRE, NAIROBI in the late 70’s. Soon after that she was at THE NATIONAL THEATRE in the OLIVIER company appearing in 4 plays and creating the role of The Slave in THE ROMANS IN BRITAIN by Howard Brenton. She played several Shakespearian roles at THE BOLTON OCTAGON, including Lady Macbeth and The Princess of France in Loves Labours Lost. She worked with MRS WORTHINGTON’S DAUGHTERS in fringe productions of ANGELS OF WAR and the live soap opera WYRE’S CROSS was a spin off.
Jill was back at the NT in 2012 in TRAVELLING LIGHT, and toured with AN INSPECTOR CALLS in 2016. Small scale touring in 2017 with RICHARD III with ANTIC DISPOSITION, and repertory at SIDMOUTH. In 2020, A LITTLE PRINCESS at The Drayton Arms. Her recent film credits include DIRTY GOD, KINDLING, CC EMILY, JOHNNY TWOSHOES (features) and including GRANNY DJ, BLOCKED, HOUSE OF GODD, THE RIDE (shorts) and for TV EASTENDERS, SMALL TOWN WITCHES, THE PASSION OF ST MARGARET CLITHEROE.
Jill enjoys quirky comedic roles these days and is excited to be playing Sarah.
Cathy Cunneff - Anne
Cathy is an award-winning actor (Best Actress in a Supporting Role - Madrid IFF as Magenta in Sophia Lazzati, Actors’ Choice Award - Mandy Monologue Compettion) and voice artist who trained at Bretton Hall College and Drama Studio London.
Her previous roles include BBC Casualty, Battery for Film4 / 104 Films, Lily Power (rehearsed reading) for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Mill Girl (R&D and rehearsed reading) for Theatre by the Lake and the solo show 21 Round for Christmas for Coupla Carols at The Park Theatre, for which she was nominated for an off-west end award.
She is currently producing her first short film for her production company, Dancing Socks Film.
Rosa French - Mags
Rosa co created the theatre company STIGMA collective. Credits with the company include writing and performing A Lesson at Brooklyn Art Haus in New York, and The Cockpit and The White Bear in London, writing and performing in the Arts Council Funded Unexpected, and performing the UK premiere right left with heels as part of the Women in War festival, the Voila! Theatre festival. Other theatre credits include Ordnance, Christmas is Cancelled, La Corona (The Crown) and Jane Eyre. Film credits include Stay with Me, Coercive Control, and The Goob. Rosa trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Ralph Bogard - Director
Ralph Bogard is an actor, singer, director and host, who boasts an accomplished career in theatre and live entertainment. With credits across the globe including London's West End. From plays to musicals and more!
Most recently performing in the Olivier Award winning productions of 'Fiddler On The Roof' at Regents Park Open Air Theatre as the alternate to lead role of 'Tevye' and before that the UK musicsl tour of 'I Should Be So Lucky'.
As a director, Ralph has also directed award-winning productions that have been seen internationally. Ralph's recent projects include 'The Importance of Being Anxious' which has been seen in London, Los Angeles and NYC where it was a recipient of audience and critical awards. He was also assistant director with Olivier Award winning company 'Les Enfants Terribles' for the China and Taiwan productions of 'Sherlock : The Case Of The Hung Parliament' and was the Digital Creative Director for the world premiere production of the new version of Aristophanes 'The Frogs' (published by Hackett press) with award winning and acclaimed 'Aquila Theatre Company' in NYC. Farah Ishaq - Designer
Farah is a video designer recently trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, working across theatres, galleries and community spaces using light, colour and film to express a range of narratives for diverse audiences. Has worked on regional & national theatre productions as well as produced design content for commercial studios, live music events and developed light and sound installations for gallery & black box spaces in the last year.
